Driving Lessons from complete novice to experienced learner
Our driving lessons cover everything from the fundamentals of operating a vehicle to mastering intricate manoeuvres. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced learner, our seamless progression ensures personalised instruction. The rates are £40 per hour or £75 for a 2-hour session. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to schedule a lesson! 😊🚗
Defensive Driving Course
Our comprehensive defensive driving course equips you with the skills to anticipate and respond effectively to potential hazards. In just 6 hours, you’ll gain valuable insights into risk recognition, tactical techniques, and safe driving practices. The course fee is 6 hours £240. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to enrol! 😊🚗
Refresher driving courses are a great way to boost your confidence. 6 hours £240
1: Whether you want to expand your expertise, or if you’re just a bit rusty, we can cater refresher lessons to your needs. If you're going to improve your night-time, all-weather, urban or rural driving, we can help. 2: Our instructor can tailor their tuition around your needs – whether you've just passed or are more experienced. Just let us know what you want to cover. 6 hours £200 You can book as many hours as you need to practise any of these skills (as long as it's a minimum of 2 hours): General practice to brush up your skills : Town driving : All-weather driving : Out-of-town driving and rural roads : Night driving : Dual carriageways : Motorway driving
Driving Lessons
Our driving lessons are tailored to individual needs, providing a comprehensive and safe learning experience. We assist with theory test preparation, practical driving skills, and road confidence. 1 hour £40 or 2 hours £75
Driving Theory Test

I came to Malcolm having previously done lessons and a couple failed tests before moving house in which I needed to start again. Malcolm had an amazing approach It was both friendly but firm and I always came away having learnt something. All aspects of driving were covered and we always had good plans in place for how we would tackle what I felt was difficult until I reached a level were I was confident and independent. Malcolm was so patient and understanding and tailored the lessons so well to meet any weaknesses. We couldn’t have wished for a better instructor!
Sonny Patrick approached me after taking lessons with an instructor before the COVID pandemic. He had previously failed his driving test due to a couple of serious faults and a few minor driver faults. We worked together to address these issues, and I am pleased to say that he passed his test on the first attempt, with only four minor driver faults.

Samuel KillenPast Test Steve, a lifelong resident of Skegness, achieved an impressive milestone today by passing his driving test with Malcolm School of Motoring. What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that Steve has faced several challenges, including a hospital stay. He began his journey as a complete novice earlier this year but, despite being admitted three-quarters of the way through his training, he persevered and resumed lessons once he returned home. Just seven weeks later, he passed his test on his first attempt with only three driver faults. A massive congratulations to Steve on this outstanding achievement!
